The object of the Bill is to make new provisions regulating the registration and enrolment of insurance brokers and other intermediaries and Insurance intermediaries activities as well as insurance broking activities in or from Malta, or in or from a country outside Malta, in substitution of those contained in the Insurance Business Act (Cap 290) and the Malta Financial Services Centre Act (Cap 330) and to make provisions for matters ancillary thereto or connected therewith.
