The objects and reasons of this Bill are to provide, in lieu of Part VIII of the Education Act (Cap. 327), for the establishment, functions and purpose of the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology, establishing governing bodies and principal officers thereof, the functions composition and powers of such governing bodies, providing for financial provisions relating to the College, as well as providing for other matters connected therewith or ancillary thereto.
