Objects and Reasons
The objects and reasons of this Bill are to empower the court so that when a person is found guilty of ill-treatment of animals in violation of the Animal Welfare Act, be able, if it deems it appropriate, to prohibit the said person from keeping animals or from residing in a place where animals are kept for such period as the court may determine.
