Objects and Reasons

The Object of the Bill is to substitute the current duty leviable for each public tombola session with a new flat-rate duty, and to increase the penalty to which a person may be liable for infringing the provisions relating to the holding of public lotteries and tombolas from Lm50 to Lm500.
