Objects and Reasons

The Object of this Bill is to amend the Industrial Training Act, 1952, so as to prevent persons undergoing an apprenticeship from being considered for other employment without the consent of their employer and the approval of the Director of Labour and Emigration, and to increase the fines leviable for non-adherence of apprenticeship agreements.
