Objects and Reasons

The Object of this Bill is to amend the Medical and Kindred Professions Ordinance so as to make it compulsory for university graduates in medicine and surgery to train in the practice of medicine and surgery as housemen in a Government hospital or clinic for a period of two years before they can qualify for the warrant to practise that profession.
