The Object of this Bill is to amend the Telemalta Corporation Act, 1975, so as to provide that estimates are to be made as from the financial year beginning on the 1st April, 1977.
The Bill also contains further amendments including the increase of the charge payable by the Government for the service rendered to it by Telemalta, and the provisions regarding the power of Telemalta to appoint and employ its officers.
