11.00 a.m.     Start of the Parliamentary Sitting.

                     Prayers.

                     The Clerk of the House reads the Proclamation summoning the Fifteenth Parliament.

                     The Clerk of the House reads the results of the General Election and Casual Elections, and the names of those
                     Members of Parliament duly elected in accordance with Article 52(1) and Article 52A(1) of the Constitution of Malta.

                     Election of Speaker.  The Speaker takes the Oath of Allegiance.

                     Election of Deputy Speaker.

                     The Honourable Members take the Oath of Allegiance.

                     Documents are laid on the Table of the House.

                     The Prime Minister informs the House that the President of Malta will declare in the House of Representatives the reasons for
                     summoning the Fifteenth Parliament.

                     The sitting is suspended.

                     The Speaker and the Clerk of the House leave the Chamber to welcome the President of Malta.

                     The President of Malta, the Speaker and the Clerk of the House enter the Chamber. 

                     A fanfare of trumpets will sound for the arrival of the President of Malta.

                     The sitting resumes.         

                     The President of Malta declares to the House of Representatives the reasons for summoning the Fifteenth Parliament.

                     At the end of the Address to the House by the President of Malta, the sitting is suspended.

                     The President of Malta, the Speaker and the Clerk of the House leave the Chamber.

                     A fanfare of trumpets will sound.

                     The Speaker and the Clerk of the House enter the Chamber and the sitting resumes.

                     Notice of a Motion for an Address to the President of Malta in reply to Her Excellency’s speech is given.

                     The House is adjourned.
