Objects and Reasons
The objects and reasons of this Bill are to provide the necessary authority to the Government of Malta to issue guarantees in order to participate in the SURE Instrument, and thereby benefit from temporary financial assistance by the European Union to protect employment during the COVID-19 pandemic.
