Speaker Anġlu Farrugia received a courtesy visit from the Ambassador of Spain José Maria Pons Irazazabal.
The two dignitaries spoke of the excellent and long-standing political relations that exist between Malta and Spain.
They discussed issues of mutual interest, mainly the situation in Spain, with particular reference to recent developments in the regional Parliament of Catalonia.
