PR0728 - THE HON. ANGLU FARRUGIA, SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, PARTICIPATES IN THE CONFERENCE OF SPEAKERS OF EU PARLIAMENTS

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Parliament of Malta, the Hon. Anglu Farrugia, will be leading a delegation to Cyprus, where he will be participating in the Conference of Speakers of EU Parliaments, to be held between the 21st & 23rd April 2013 in Nicosia, where he is one of the selected keynote speakers.
Mr. Speaker is expected to deliver his keynote speech on Monday on the Role of EU national parliaments and the European Parliament in enhancing democracy and human rights in third countries, with particular emphasis to the Mediterranean region.
