The objects and reasons of this Bill are to provide for changes that have been taking place along the years due to the expansion of the Authority’s portfolio, the addition of a number of activities, the increased revenue, expenditure and payroll, which require additional time for reconciliation. Due to a limit in resources the current deadline has proven to be unrealistic in achieving a high-quality audit.
