Objects and Reasons
The main object of this Bill is to provide for the provision of consumer alternative dispute resolution within the Consumer Affairs Act. The Bill also provides for the consequential amendments required to be inserted in the Arbitration Act, in the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority Act and in the Civil Code.
